Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing and Sales Expert to join our team in George or Oudtshoorn, Western Cape. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies for our diverse range of products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital and traditional marketing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving brand growth. A passion and love for animals is essential, as you will also be directly responsible for the marketing of individual animals and groups of animals.

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote LANDRANI® FarmStay, LANDRANI® Café, LANDRANI® Meatmasters, and LANDRANI® Lamb.
• Manage and coordinate marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, print, and digital advertising.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create engaging content and promotional materials.
• Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing initiatives and campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and other external partners.
• Manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
• Market animals via all social and electronic platforms, ensuring the effective promotion of our livestock.
• Arrange and manage quarterly auctions for selling animals, coordinating all aspects of these events.
• Develop and execute strategies for both marketing and selling, combining promotional efforts with direct sales responsibilities.
• Conduct high-quality photography to create visually appealing marketing materials and content.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

• Proven experience in a marketing role, preferably in the hospitality or agricultural sectors.

• Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, including SEO, PPC, social media, and email marketing.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Creative thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems).

• A passion and love for animals, with an understanding of livestock marketing and sales.

• Experience in arranging and managing auctions is a plus.

• Proven experience in photography, with a portfolio of previous work.

• Willingness to be stationed in or relocate to George or Oudtshoorn, Western Cape.
